Yes, stays booked directly with us are on average around 20–25% cheaper. If you have a history of booking through travel portals, the difference may be slightly smaller. Guests who book directly also have a direct line of communication with us and, if any issues arise, don’t have to deal with a call centre.
Yes, of course. Stays booked directly with us can be cancelled free of charge up until 12:00 noon on the day before arrival. With Booking.com and similar platforms, the deadline is three days before arrival. This does not apply to non-refundable bookings or trade fair rates.
Yes, that is possible. Please use thecontact formand specify under ‘Requests’ that you would like to book without a credit card. We will then send you a payment link for 100% payment in advance. Once payment has been received, you will receive your confirmation. In addition to credit card payments, Klarna, Pay by bank, PayPal and Apple Pay are also available for payment. Should you need to cancel in accordance with our terms and conditions, we will of course refund the advance payment.
Yes, your booking is secure. In particular, your credit card details and other personal information are protected by us. We ensure this through a secure HTTPS server. All booking information is transmitted using SSL encryption and processed in a secure environment.
Our reception is open daily until 3 pm. If you need to contact us outside these hours, please feel free to send us an email with your enquiry. We will then get back to you personally as soon as possible.
We have an underground car park with a clearance height of 1.95 m. There are 27 spaces available. Use of the car park is free of charge. Therefore, reservations cannot be made. There are also free public parking spaces available around the hotel. You can easily open the garage door using your smartphone. In our guest app, under ‘Your Keys’, all keys – except for your room key – are available to you before 3 pm. Here’s how it works!
It’s very simple. You don’t need an app or anything like that to use your key. Once the free cancellation period has expired, you’ll receive an email with a link to check in. Just complete the check-in using your smartphone, and then sit back and relax. On the day of your arrival, as soon as the housekeeping staff has cleaned your room, you’ll receive a text message with a link directly to your keys. Then simply slide the corresponding arrow in the app from left to right to unlock the doors or open the garage door automatically. You just need to be near the respective door. No QR code, no need to hold your phone up anywhere. Just slide the arrow. Simply forward the text message to your partner so you both have a key. Feel free to take another look HERE!
Check-in is entirely digital. Once the free cancellation period has expired, you will receive an email containing a link for this purpose. Once you have checked in, you can arrive at any time, day or night, as your smartphone acts as a key for all doors, including the underground car park. Here’s how it works! Your room will be available from 3 pm on the day of arrival at the latest.
On the day of your departure, we’re afraid we’ll have to say goodbye to you by 11.00 am. You can check out at reception from 07.00 am. Leaving earlier? No problem. You can also check out digitally at any time. You’ll still have access to the property until 11.00 am.
You are welcome to arrive before 3 pm and park your car and luggage here. Your room will be available from 3 pm. If you have already checked in, you can use your smartphone to open the garage door. You will find the ‘Underground car park access’ key under the ‘Your keys’ menu item in our guest app.
As a general rule, payment for accommodation, breakfast and city tax is due once the free cancellation period has expired. The credit card you have provided will be charged. We accept debit cards and credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express), as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. We only accept cash payments for items taken from our trusty fridge.
From Monday to Friday, we serve our organic and regional breakfast in the common room from 6.30 am to 9.30 am. At weekends and on public holidays, we start at 7.30 am and finish at 10.00 am.
Our prices are all-inclusive. The services included in these prices are non-refundable.

High-speed Wi-Fi, 43" Full HD TV, keyless laptop safe and handcrafted box-spring beds (160 x 200 cm) with pocket spring mattresses. A pillow menu is available to book for personalised sleeping comfort.
Standard Room
Facing the street, featuring handcrafted box-spring beds (180 x 200 cm) with pocket spring mattresses, free high-speed Wi-Fi, Full HD TV, safe, and kettle including a coffee and tea set. Extra bed for children available.
Comfort Room
Quiet garden-facing location with maximum comfort: handcrafted box-spring beds, free high-speed Wi-Fi, Full HD TV, fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle, organic teas and laptop safe.
Due to the age of the building, we unfortunately do not have any family rooms with connecting doors or similar. We are happy to provide an extra bed in the standard category for a child up to the age of 16. The maximum occupancy is 3 people.
Yes, we are happy to provide you with a standard travel cot, complete with all the necessary accessories. This is available in the Standard and Comfort categories. We charge €15.00 per night. Of course, you are also welcome to bring your own cot.
Yes – in our Standard category, we can provide our Comfort box-spring extra beds (180cm x 75cm) with a cold foam mattress. We charge €45.00 per night, including breakfast.
Yes, every Auszeit bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer.
No, the Auszeit rooms do not have a telephone.
No, there is no minibar in the hotel rooms. However, a wide range of drinks and organic snacks is available 24/7 at the "Auszeit-Treffpunkt".
Yes, we offer a selection of specialty pillows from the Austrian manufacturer Hefel. During the booking process, you can choose between reading pillows, stomach-sleeper pillows, or side-sleeper pillows.
Unfortunately, the Auszeit Hotel does not have air conditioning. Neither in the rooms nor in the public areas.
No, our Auszeit Hotel does not have a sauna or a gym.
Unfortunately, the Auszeit Hotel does not have a separate meeting room.
The Auszeit Hotel is a bed-and-breakfast. There are restaurants nearby that are within walking distance. You can find our personal recommendations in our guest app. Of course, our friendly staff at reception are always on hand to offer advice.
Yes – we hire out touring bikes (€25.00/day) and e-bikes (€35.00/day). We usually have two of each type available on site. If you need more than that or want to be on the safe side, please make sure to email us at: buchung@auszeit-hh.de.
The Neugraben S-Bahn station is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
The S-Bahn runs every 10 minutes from Hamburg-Neugraben. The journey to the main station takes 30 minutes. You can reach the Landungsbrücken (harbour) in just over 40 minutes. We recommend using the HVV app to help you plan your journey. Tickets can be booked directly online via the app. Alternatively, although slightly more expensive, you can also buy them from the ticket machines at the station.
We love pets too – but they are not allowed at our Auszeit Hotel.
Unfortunately, we do not sell our own gift vouchers. However, you are welcome to create your own voucher for bed and breakfast. Simply book a room for the recipient(s) and pay in advance or provide your credit card details for payment.

Unfortunately, due to the age of the building, the Auszeit Hotel does not have any accessible rooms. Although there is a lift serving all floors and the room doors are wheelchair-accessible, the bathrooms are not suitably equipped.
