Our location is unbeatable: you can enjoy evening workouts, picturesque hiking trails in the Fischbeker Heide or cycling tours to the Alte Land and the Rosengarten Regional Park. At the same time, you can reach Hamburg's vibrant metropolis in no time with the S-Bahn lines 2 and 3, just a stone's throw from our hotel. A perfect retreat for conscious travellers, whether on holiday or business!
The perfect starting point for hikes in and around Hamburg
Our Auszeit Hotel Hamburg, located in the south of Hamburg, is the perfect starting point or stopover for impressive hikes around the Elbe metropolis. Not only is the starting point for stage 1 of the Heidschnuckenweg (223 km) just a stone's throw away from us, but the European long-distance hiking trail E1 from North Cape to southern Italy also runs right past our hotel door. Those who are not quite so sporty can still enjoy shorter or longer hikes or walks in the surrounding nature reserves of Fischbek or Lüneburg Heath or the Rosengarten Regional Park. With a network of varied hiking routes, there are numerous wonderful nature experiences that are well worth a visit even outside the main season of the popular heath blossom. And: the metropolis of Hamburg also offers many green options along the Elbe, around the Alster and in various parks.

Cycling holiday in the south of Hamburg and the Altes Land
‘I want to ride my bicycle...’ With this catchy tune in your ears, you can set off on a wonderful cycling holiday between maritime city flair and rural idyll. After all, the south of the Elbe metropolis is a true El Dorado for cyclists. You can either explore the surrounding area of Hamburg flexibly and individually with your own bike or take advantage of our Auszeit rental bikes. The Rosengarten Regional Park, the largest fruit-growing area in Northern Europe, the Altes Land, and the Fischbeker Heide offer perfect conditions for extensive tours on well-signposted paths. Mountain bikers will also get their money's worth in the south of Hamburg. You start from the hotel and experience beautiful landscapes and a variety of natural and cultural treasures until you finally see the Elbe river. Magnificent fruit farms invite you to linger and shop – and if you like, you can simply take the ferry to the beer gardens in Blankenese to round off your bike tour in style.
