Family discount
As soon as you book two double rooms with us and the second room is booked for at least two children (childs > 14 years), we will grant you a 20% family discount on the second room for the overnight stay without breakfast. Simply specify in the booking process under "Wishes" family discount. The discount is granted downstream for technical reasons and is not visible in your booking confirmation.
How many people can fit in a room?
Our double rooms Standard & Comfort are each designed for a maximum of 3 people. The only exception is the occupancy 2 adults / 1 child 0-3 years / 1 child 4-14 years. Just look under: How to make a reservation for the family of 4 people
Are there family rooms?
Unfortunately, due to its year of construction, our house does not have connecting doors between the rooms. We are happy to organize the rooms from the category Standard & Comfort opposite or next to each other. For the second room we will gladly grant you a family discount of 20% on the overnight stay without breakfast.
Is there a kettle in the room?
The rooms in the Standard & Comfort category always have a kettle in the room. In our 24-hour breakfast room, a hot water heater is also available 24/7.
What children's equipment offers us Auszeit Hotel?
Our house has high chairs for breakfast, toilet seats and bathroom stools. We are happy to provide you with this equipment free of charge. Please make sure to mention it under "Wishes" in the reservation process, then the good spirits of Auszeit will prepare everything for the little ones. If you need a baby cot, we charge € 6.50 per night. You can book a baby cot directly under "Everything for the room".
Reservation family of 3
You choose: 2 guests and depending on age: "Smutje 0-3 years" or "Matrose 4-14 years". Children up to 3 years sleep free of charge in the parents' bed. If you choose an extra bed for your 0-3 year old child, we will prepare a baby cot with bed linen and towels for 10,00 € per night. For children over 4 years we always charge an extra bed. Our comfort extra beds are 80 cm x 200 cm and have a pocket spring mattress.

You choose 2 guests plus "sailor" . The child up to 3 years sleeps free of charge in the parents' bed. Please indicate child 0-3 years under "wishes".

Game park Schwarze Berge
The family attraction in the south of Hamburg. There are lots of highlights for young and old to discover in the park. We recommend our "Family & Wildlife Park" special. Climbing park Wilhelmsburg
Climbing fun in the Inselpark in Wilhelmsburg. Conveniently accessible by S-Bahn from the hotel, the park awaits young and old climbing enthusiasts with exciting trails. 39 climbing stations, 352 metres of rope slides and 5 great courses in different difficulty levels. Game park Lüneburger Heide
At 60 hectares, the Lüneburg Heath Game Park is significantly larger than the Schwarze Berge Game Park. Eye to eye with bears and wolves and, very typical for the region, with Heidschnucken. At a height of 45 metres, you not only have a view of the game park but also of Hamburg harbour!
Hagenbeks zoological parc
On 25 hectares, the traditional Hamburg zoo offers a 6-kilometre-long network of paths. In addition to many outdoor enclosures, there are also many plants to discover in the zoo. A special highlight is certainly the Tropical Aquarium, which opened in 2007. Hagenbeck's zoo is a must for any visit to Hamburg with the family.
Freilichtmuseum Am Kiekeberg

Finally get really scared again - and with all your senses? This is possible in the Speicherstadt in Hamburg! However, the famous Hamburg Dungeon can hardly be compared to a conventional ghost train at a fairground or a dusty chamber of horrors.
